Yes you can give AirVue Golf as a gift. To gift AirVue Golf, open iTunes on your Mac or PC. Click here to open iTunes and go directly to AirVue Golf page. Click on the arrow located to the right of the "$9.99 Buy App" button. Select "Gift This App" and follow directions to Gift AirVue Golf to your favorite golfer.

Updated imagery from Google may require us to update the course. Please send us an email at support@locaxion.com with course information including course name, city and state and we'll update the course ASAP.

Yes. We recommend updating to AirVue Golf V2.7 to get most out of your ios 4.2 and your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad devices. You can check your current version by clicking on gear icon and at bottom of screen, you should see the current version of AirVue Golf.

Yes. AirVue Golf V2.6 and later supports the iPad.

First, ensure you are running AirVue Golf V2.7. This is a free upgrade for current AirVue Golf customers. Set your iPad to 1X magnification mode, while loading courses in AirVue Golf. After the course has been loaded, you may go to 2x magnification.

Please press Dismiss and close the dialog box to be notified when the course has finished loading. When this dialog box is open, you'll NOT be notified when course has finished loading. Please PRESS DISMISS and look at what hole # is being loaded just under the course name. After all 9 or 18 holes have been loaded, press Start Round to start your game.

AirVue Golf V2.7 includes updates for improved iPad compatibility and fixes misc. bugs.

Current users of AirVue Golf can upgrade to V2.7 free-of-charge. Go to App store on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and click on updates. The device will identify that an update is available and will download and install the update for you.

Please try reloading the course to load the missing images. First go to "Played" screen and delete the course. Slide your finger from left-to-right on the course to delete. Press Delete. Now go to "Search" screen and enter the course to reload the course. All images should now properly be displayed.

Go to "Played" screen. Find the course you want to delete. Slide your finger from left-to-right on the course to delete. Press Delete.

Yes. Go to scorecard screen. Find the scorecard you want to delete. Slide your finger from left-to-right on the scorecard to delete. Press Delete. Once you press delete the scorecard is permanently deleted and can't be recovered.

The iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices are supported. Please refer to question below on limitations on iPod touch, first generation iPhone devices and iPad (non 3G version).

Yes. You can view satellite imagery and get distances from back of the tee to points on the hole. This is a great way to visualize the course as you play and prior to your round. For iPod touch users, we recommend downloading your course information via Wi-Fi prior to playing your round. These devices don’t have a built-in GPS, therefore, AirVue Golf will not be able to identify current location to display distances from present location to points on the course.

$9.99. This includes unlimited access to all courses in US and Mexico. This is a one-time charge. There is no per-use fee, per-month fee, per-year fee. Pay once and use as often as you like.

No. You pay once and you use as often as you want on any course throughout US and Canada.

Yes. AirVue Golf senses your current hole and automatically loads information for that hole. If you turn your phone on at the tee and are running AirVue Golf, AirVue Golf will automatically switch to the current hole.

For best accuracy, we recommend AirVue Golf is running for about 15 seconds before getting a distance reading. AirVue Golf and iPhone take about 15 seconds to lock onto GPS signals to get the most accurate distance readings.

Yes. You can use the built-in interactive rangefinder capability to measure distance to anywhere on the course. In any satellite view, touch the screen and then slide your finger on the screen to move the crosshair. The distance displayed under the crosshair is the distance from current location to the location under the crosshair.

When viewing the course in any satellite view, click on the mark shot icon at bottom left of the screen from where you hit the ball. Now walk or drive to the ball and upon arriving at the ball, look at the iPhone screen and the ball distance is now displayed.

You can search for your course by using the search tool located to the left. Enter course name, city, state, or zip code to get a list of courses currently in our database.

If you can't find your course information, try entering just a portion of the course name. For example, if the course you are looking for is Riverside Golf Club, you can type Riverside or River Side. Or you can also enter city, state or zip and search for your course by location. If you still can't find your course, please click here to contact us and let us know the course name, city and state and we'll be happy to add the course information into our database.

We use satellite imagery from Google. Unfortunately, some images from Google are blurry, may not be high enough resolution or are simply outdated. In those situations, Locaxion is not able to process that course and make it available for use with AirVue Golf. Please contact us and let us know of your interest and we'll notify Google to get newer or higher quality satellite imagery.

Yes. We are happy to process us courses in time for your game. For urgent requests, please click here to contact us let us know when you'll be golfing and we'll make all effort to complete the course in time for your game.

We work closely with our map provider to ensure we have the newest satellite image for your use. If you encounter a map that appears outdated or shows your course under construction or possibly no course, please contact us with course name, city, state and what's not right and we'll work with our map provider to get updated imagery.

In any satellite view, simply click on the scorecard icon, located at the bottom.

No. You can change scores while you’re playing your round, but once saved, the score is not editable. We are working on adding this functionality in the near future.

Yes. AirVue Golf lets you keep track of detailed scores for each golfer. AirVue Golf will then calculate GIRs and Scrambling for each hole and golfer.

Yes. You may email your scorecard to your home computer. When viewing scorecard, click on the letter icon to email that scorecard.

Yes. AirVue Golf comes configured with ability to track your last round or as many of your previous rounds to visualize your progress. Click on statistics to graphically view your scores.

Yes. AirVue Golf supports the 1st generation iPhone, iPod touch and non-3G versions of iPad devices. You'll have access to satellite imagery, scorecard, graphing and interactive rangefunctionality with your device. But since the 1st generation iPhone, the iPod touch and non-3G version of iPad do not have a built-in GPS, you'll see distances as measured from the back of the furthest tee to points on the course.

Since the iPod touch, 1st generation iPhone and non-3G version of iPad do not have an integrated GPS, you'll be unable to pinpoint current location. Distances displayed will be from the furthest tee to markers on the course.

Yes. There are multiple external GPS units on the market for the iPod touch. Many of our customers have reported that the iGPS360 from Orange work well. (http://www.orangegadgets.com/products.html)
